The T5 can be powered by both SONY NP-F and Canon LP-E6 batteries. Yet another alternative is to use a power bank via Micro USB allowing non-stop operation anywhere, any time.

Furthermore, if a camera runs out of battery the T5 can act as a standby through its dummy battery feature for popular cameras including Sony, Canon and Panasonic.
